Results of the Students’ Satisfaction Survey

The survey was given to all the students in group 5 to 8. 252 questionnaires were completed by IPS Hilversum students. 119 from groups 5 & 6 and 133 from groups 7 & 8. 

Our students, in general, are very satisfied with the school.The average score for all schools in the ‘reference group’ is 8.1 and for IPS Hilversum is 8.6. The appreciation of the school by the students is scored as ‘very good’.

According to the students’ survey, the school can use five significantly positive aspects in its profile:

• The interaction between the students
• The teacher contact between teachers and students 
• The feedback and support from the teacher
• The general degree of satisfaction
• The school building and its surroundings

Results of the Parents Satisfaction Survey

Parents, in general, are very satisfied with the school. The average score for all schools in the ‘reference group’ is 7.5 and for our school 7.9.  

The appreciation for the school by the parents is scored as ´good´.

According to the students, the school can use seven significantly positive aspects in its profile:

• The teachers
• Contact between the school & parents
• School rules, order & discipline
• Student monitoring
• Personal development
• School atmosphere
• School Building

According to the survey, a significant area for attention is the environment around the school buildings. The plans to open a new single site to replace the current three split sites will address all concerns.

The surveys will be conducted again in the autumn of 2020. At that point the results will be summarized and placed in PO Vensters.
