Toelichting van de school
The students at the school do not take any CITO assessments. Twice a year we complete the SWST (single word spelling test) and the Probe Reading Comprehension Assessment. In addition to this, once a year we complete two standardised assessments PTE (Progress Test in English) and PTM (Progress Test in Math) for Groups 3 to 8. In Groups 5 and 7 learners also complete the CAT5 (Cognitive Abilities Test).
The average standard age scores* for the Group 8 students in 2019-2020 were:

During the school year, learners from Group 3 to 8 complete standardised assessments for both Language and Math. These are used to identify learner needs and allow for teachers to personalise learning to ensure all learners needs are met. With a focus on ongoing assessment during Units of Inquiry, teachers evaluate the process learners are going through with a summative assessment highlighting the conceptual understandings and knowledge gained through the unit. In Group 8, learners participate in what is called The Exhibition. This is a accumulative project of everything they have learnt during their PYP journey.

The IB Diploma is a two-year programme (16 to 18 years) at VWO level. Students are required to complete the Middle Years Programme (12-16 years) in preparation for this. The Dutch Ministry of Education regards the Middle Years Programme to be below an advice level of VWO even though it is a requirement for IB Diploma programme entry in International Education. This is reflected in PO Vensters when students in the first 4 years of secondary education (MYP) are regarded as performing below the level advised. Only in their fifth year of secondary are they considered to be at the advised level.
Zitten de oud-leerlingen van deze school in het voortgezet onderwijs boven, op of onder hun schooladvies?
In groep 8 krijgt elke leerling van de basisschool een advies voor het voortgezet onderwijs dat past bij het niveau van deze leerling. De leerling stroomt vervolgens door naar het voortgezet onderwijs. In het derde jaar wordt gekeken welk niveau de leerling werkelijk heeft vergeleken met het niveau van het schooladvies. Dit wordt vertaald naar drie categorieën: boven, op en onder advies. Bijvoorbeeld: een leerling met schooladvies vmbo-b die in het derde jaar op het vmbo-k zit, zit boven advies. En een leerling met schooladvies havo/vwo die in het derde jaar op het havo zit, zit op advies. Wanneer deze leerling in het derde schooljaar op het vwo zit, zit hij/zij boven advies.
